Al Richards has been a resident of Chester County for over 40 years during which time he raised a family while owning and operating a small business.\ With a degree in Studio Art he has continued pursuing a path in the arts not only painting but volunteering as exhibition chairman for the Philadelphia Water Color Society and the Philadelphia Pastel Society. He also served on the board of Land Art Events whose mission was to connect artists with plein air painting opportunities on properties under conservancy. \ He enjoys plein air painting in his medium of choice - pastel.\ \
