Al Richards received a degree in Art Studio from Colorado College in 1973. While working and raising a family he continued his artistic journey by taking classes and workshops across the Delaware Valley. His medium of choice is pastel although he often works in watercolors and acrylics. Now retired he paints daily in both the studio and with the Farm to Table group of Plein Air painters. He also volunteers as a board member of the Philadelphia Water Color Society and is presently working on the 118th Anniversary International Exhibition of Works on Paper which will open this October.
