I am endlessly inspired by both the landscape and the artistic heritage of the Brandywine valley, as well as nearby coastal regions. I primarily paint in watercolor, and occasionally use charcoal. Frequently I paint en plein air, on the beach--usually seascapes or still life shells. Nearby, the town of West Chester, the Brandywine river, and the magnificent venues opened for Plein Air Brandywine Valley artists over the past 2 years have had fantastic fall colors and inspiring views.
