Ellen A. Gavin  oil painter (b 1954 Phila) living Millville NJ. 

 

With a BFA cum laude from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art 1976. Ellen began her artistic journey with a design career in NYC. In 2001 she left the design world and began painting full time. Enjoying an energetic painterly style, her plein air landscape & equestrian paintings have been exhibited, awarded & collected throughout the US & Europe. A Signature Member of Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters (MAPAPA), The American Academy of Equine Art 2003-09, The Washington Society of Miniature Painters 2004-09  The Society Animal Artists 2006-09  She has continued study at The Scottsdale Artist School AZ, The Art Students League & Museum of Natural History in  New York City. She is also listed in Who’s Who in American Art from 2009 through 2015 She owns Green Boots Studio & Gallery in Millville NJ.
