Mary Ellen Goetz, resides in Wynnewood, PA with her husband Howard and son Aaron. A native to Delaware, she enjoys painting plein air seascapes in Lewes, Delaware and New Harbor, Maine. Mary Ellen studied art at the Delaware Art Museum, and Rehoboth Art League. After receiving a BFA from the University of Dayton, she pursued a career that merges art and therapy with a master degree in art therapy from Hahnemann University and doctorate in psychology from Immaculata University. She studied at the Pennsylvania Academy and Wayne Art Center. She exhibits her work in juried exhibitions at the Wayne Art Center, and Delaware Watercolor Society. She currently studies at the Wayne Art Center and enjoys painting primarily with a bright palette, and bold brush strokes. Her works available through the Pandion Gallery, Fisher's Island, New York and private sale.
