Born 1940, Petersburg, Va. Current Address Chadds Ford, Pa I became interested in oil painting for two very different reasons. First, two of my five sons are full time nationally recognized artists. I figured if they could do it, I could too! Not quite that easy. Secondly, we moved to Minesota in 1998 and i needed a hobby. I had always wanted to paint, but with five sons never seemed to find the time. This was the perfect time and I was fortunate to study under Joe Paquet for four years. I also studied under several other competent artists at the Minnesota River School. Since returning to Pa. in 2003, I have continued my education by taking workshops with John budicin, John Poon, Jeanne Mackenzie, Camille Przewodek, David Lussier and Chuck Rawle. I currently show with Longwood Gallery in Kennett Square.
