Virtual Gallery Opening App

This year our event will be virtual in place of our physical Opening Reception.  We will launch the Plein Air Brandywine Valley Virtual Gallery App on September 25th for our sponsors, patrons, and the public at large.  This exciting new app was developed specifically for CBH and PABV which allows us to exhibit and offer artists’ works for sale in a new, simple to use and engaging way.

Dates TBD

May 2022

Kennett Square, PA

Event Timeline

Tuesday, September 01, 2020 – Wednesday, September 23, 2020

Artists Paint anywhere of their choosing within the Brandywine Valley.  Geographic boundaries include Phoenixville, PA to the north, Honey Brook, PA to the west, Glen Mills, PA to the east and New Castle County, DE through to the C&D Canal and includes Chesapeake City, MD to the south.  Artists are responsible for their safety and any regulations within the areas they choose to paint.  Please adhere to social distancing recommendations and respect all individual private property parameters.

View:  The shaded area is the actual Brandywine Watershed with the heavier line indicating the boundaries for PABV.

More information will be available for the Artists including an informational sheet on how to use the PABV app.

Sunday, September 20 – Wednesday, September 23, 2020

If the opportunity becomes available for larger artist groups to paint private properties based on COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing requirements, the committee will communicate these locations and rules and regulations to all Artists.  We may choose to offer only one private location per day so this in no way impinges on an artist’s decision where to paint.   Please see the complete rules and regulations for artists.
