Air, earth, water and light mix together to form our living world. Elissa Gore captures these elements as she sees them in landscape paintings for over thirty years. Once a medical illustrator and college professor of fine art, she paints small works outdoors in the city and country. Sometimes she paints larger works from her studies in the studio. Her work is in 60 public collections including the US Art in Embassies program. A Philadelphia native, she has a BFA from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MA from the University of Texas. She exhibits frequently and has had over 15 solo exhibitions. Elissa has taught watercolor workshops for the New York Botanical Garden for 20 years.
