Charles Snell enjoys capturing the fleeting beauty of the landscape using oil paint en plein air. He paints frequently with the Rancocas Valley Plein Air Painters in South Jersey and is a member of the Burlington County Art Guild. He has participated in painting courses and workshops conducted by Philip Carroll, John Ennis, Ken DeWaard, John MacDonald, Tom Nachreiner and other talented painters. Charles has received several awards for his work, including the 2013 Vanishing Landscapes Award (Bayonet Farm Arts & Music Fair), the 2014 JFM Award for Excellence (Plein Air Westfield), 2015 Quick Draw First Place (Chestertown Paint the Town), and the 2015 Whitemarsh Township Award for Excellence (Whitemarsh Arts Center Plein Air Paint Out).
