Born in Malvern, Pa in 1977. Now lives with his family in West Chester,Pa.
My aim in creating a painting is to awake the viewer. I use a representational methods to convey the magic of light felt in nature. Plein air painting energizes my inner artist through the juxtaposition of challenges and the simple pleasure of being outside doing what I love. Living in the Brandywine Valley is a blessing because of all the great Wyeth art and natural beauty that surrounds me at all times.
I work mostly in oils, but enjoy watercolor as well. I also paint murals for corporations and residential homes. Recently I worked on a giant mosaic mural at West Bradford Elementary. It was a very rewarding experience because all the students participated in the creation! I have also participated in the "Paint the Town" plein air event in West Chester. This year my work has been included in shows at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, The Chester County Art Association and The Arts and Environmental Jamboree. I am a member of The Chester County Art Association and The Brandywine Conservancy.
