Christine Kerrick was born and raised in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She earned a B.F.A. In Illustration from University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
Christine spent her early career as a graphic designer, learning print production, color separations for fabric printing, and all the software that would assist her later in making the art she loved.
In 1995, she moved to South Florida where, for the next 15 years she would work in both illustration and graphic design. In 1997, she wrote and illustrated the first of what would be three comic books and two graphic novels based on end-time events from the book of Revelation. She exhibited at Comicon International for several years, featured at convention panel discussions on Spiritual Themes in Comics with three other speakers.
In mid 2001, Christine joined Broward Sheriff's Office in a graphic design capacity. In 2004, was sent to F.B.I. Academy in Quantico, Virginia for training in forensic facial imaging for crime victim and missing person identification. When she returned to South Florida, the Sheriff's Criminal Investigations Division and neighboring police departments enlisted her help to create composite drawings from witness interviews, postmortem drawings and facial reconstructions from skeletal remains.
In 2012, Christine published her first illustrated book: How To Tell A Prince From A Frog: Law Enforcement Techniques for Knowing Who You're Dating (280 pp., Amazon). She wrote it to help women who are looking for Princes but finding and settling for Frogs.
Presently, Christine lives and makes art in West Chester, making collage drawings and paintings and experimenting with found objects. Her work has been shown in galleries in Philadelphia, Delaware, Ft. Lauderdale and New York.
