Erin Pryor Gill is an artist and illustrator. After two years at Alfred University, concentrating in painting and printmaking, she graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Illustration. She worked as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer for several years before taking a break to concentrate on her family. Erin and her husband have three young boys, and she loves introducing her children to the joy of painting and creating. She also enjoys working on her own art. The past couple of years she has gotten hooked on painting en plein air, working in watercolor, pastel and oils. She finds that the peace, immediacy and challenge of getting outside to paint from direct observation is very rewarding.
