Maryland oil painter Jane Knighton is a Baltimore native. Jane considers herself a lifelong artist beginning in preschool surrounded by family and friends who were painters sculptors and designers. As a result of these influences Jane became an art educator for the Howard County Public Schools System in Maryland.\ Currently Jane Knighton devotes her artistic pursuit to painting full time in her studio and outdoors. Jane exhibits in galleries and participates in plein air events across the Pennsylvania and Delmarva area.
