Always painting and drawing since childhood surrounded by a musical and artistic family Kate has studied drawing and painting in the Netherlands Italy and US and has a degree in piano performance from the Hartt School. She paints landscapes en plein air and in studio and has participated in Plein Air Easton 2020 and 2021 where she won an Honorable Mention in the Small Painting competition. One of her plein air paintings was a semi-finalist in the 15th International Art Renewal Salon Competition 2021. Her work reflects her emotional connection to and the mysteries of our surrounding world.
