Renee Lachman received her MFA in painting from George Washington University and a BFA in painting and drawing from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Other art studies include painting with Tendai Johnson at Montgomery College Portrait painting with Dani Dawson and Gavin Glakas and landscape painting with Beth Ann Couple.\ Renee has shown widely in the Washington area and has exhibited in Philadelphia and New York. Her teaching affiliations include Montgomery College Northern Virginia Community College and The Art League Summer Arts Camp.
