I attended the Boston Museum School and started out my professional career as a Color Field painter. After a hiatus taken in order to raise my children and teach I have returned to painting focused on the beauty and ephemeral nature of the world around us. Primarily a plein air palette knife painter my work bridges into impressionism. I began participating in juried plein air festivals last summer from which I have garnered several awards. My earlier work can be found in several private and corporate collections and my recent works have been juried into numerous exhibits including those of the Oil Painters of America, the American Impressionist Society, Outdoor Painters Society, and National Oil and Acrylic Painters. I live in Vermont and am presently represented by approximately half a dozen galleries around the USA. In addition, I have been featured in Plein Air Magazine`s Outdoor Painter with work highlighted in Fine Art Connoisseur.
