I love nature; I usually paint living things - trees, flowers, landscapes, people. I grew up on a farm, walking through the woods along the Octorara creek with my grandmother as she taught me the names of wild flowers, ferns, trees. I studied at University of Delaware and West Chester University for a couple of years, but mostly I am self taught. I travel to Vermont regularly and paint. I taught art at West Nottingham Academy for 7 years, and continue to teach for fun. I currently own Wilson Vineyard Gallery in Nottingham, PA, where I teach, show my art, and show other artists` work, and have plein air opportunities at the vineyard for artists. I enjoy working in all mediums with acrylic being my favorite; it is quick drying and helps me to be spontaneous and fast, which for me reveals a more authentic result.
